My Leadership Experience

Building the leaders of tomorrow has always been of supreme importance to me, and the best way to achieve this is to become a highly effective leader in my own right. I have been in leadership positions for over 26 years in customer service, roadside assistance, travel and insurance businesses, serving mainly automotive and insurance clients on a B2B basis, providing exceptional service. Critical leadership successes during those years include the development and implementation of processes, the introduction of strategic leadership, the regulatory approval by the Central Bank of Ireland for the conduct of business and significant sustainable company growth. I have also successfully diversified and developed new sales channels and products while building & evolving effective compliance and operational frameworks. I was a member of the Executive Board in Allianz Partners Ireland for 11 years, and have been privileged to lead many great teams and develop many future leaders.

 

My Coaching and Mentoring Experience

Mentoring and coaching have always been my passions, and I was privileged to lead many teams and develop many managers. I am therefore excited to share the knowledge, real-life experience and training I have obtained during my 26 years of managing and developing the leaders of tomorrow. My main aim is to provide guidance and support and share my leadership experiences to allow the next generation of leaders to lead the way.

I hold a Masters in Business Studies, which includes a Diploma in Leadership, a Diploma in Innovation and Strategy and a Diploma in Management from University College Cork. In addition, I have completed my Professional Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring through Kingstown College with distinction, which will lead to International Coaching Federation accreditation.

My Consultancy Experience

I am an independent consultant with over 25 years in the corporate world and have been involved in many multi-million euro projects,  I have been instrumental in creating long-term blueprints and strategic plans, and developing maps that define the company's direction and align with the business's vision and goals.  My skills include visibility studies, optimising internal workflows, and assessing areas such as hierarchy, structure, organisation and teams. I have helped to set up comprehensive blueprints that define long-term management goals and have advised on best practices using the most effective management methodologies. I have aided companies with carrying out the suggested solutions and provided expertise, knowledge and hands-on experience in solving specific company issues.
